I am an actress-slash-makeup artist turned head-hunter and Certified Diversity & Inclusion Recruiter (CDR). Using diversity-first headhunting tactics and my “Maverick”/”get it done” attitude, I’ve built my reputation as an expert sourcer, strategic adviser, and candidate advocate, primarily within the commercial real estate industry. I’ve been recognized as a Crain’s NY Notable HR Leader 2022, as well as named Top Recruiter 2021 and 2022 via TopRecruiter.co.
I first learned of my passion for headhunting by accident at Cushman & Wakefield. I was originally hired to do light data entry and HR Generalist work, but found myself craving more of a challenge. Talent Acquisition was struggling to fill a few roles, so I raised my hand to step in. That is how I got my start in headhunting for the skilled trades, immediately carving out a niche.
Throughout my tenure at Cushman & Wakefield, I oversaw headhunting efforts for Project Management & Construction, Occupancy Planning, Transaction Management, Portfolio Administration, Facilities Management, Property & Asset Management, Engineering Services (skilled trades for both union and non-union roles) Accounting, Finance, Marketing, Valuation & Advisory Services, and Brokerage. I staffed for some of Cushman & Wakefield’s largest blue-chip client accounts, including Citibank, Verizon, UBS, Google, Prudential, Aetna, and more. On average, I filled about 120-200 roles annually, with an average time to fill of under 45 days.
From there, I was recruited away to Colliers, a professional services & commercial real estate firm, to start their Brokerage Sourcing & Engagement team as well as oversee key Executive Searches for the U.S. I partnered with our C-Suite and Regional Presidents to create and execute upon strategic sourcing plans for specialty practice groups such as retail, office, industrial, Capital Markets, and more. I also led a phenomenal team of Sourcers, who have all gone on to be award-winning recruiters themselves. From the ground up, I also started their Employee Resource Group Pillar for the Diversity & Inclusion program in North America - a program that has now scaled internationally within the firm with thousands of participants.
After Colliers, I had a brief side step into FinTech, which gave me some awesome exposure to both financial services & technology headhunting. In November of 2022, the opportunity to partner with Arch Advisory Group presented itself, and I chose to make the jump to the “other side” of the business!
